Raja Shivaji closed its 3rd week around Rs. 12.95 crore, with Rs 85 lakh coming on the 3rd Thursday. The movie recorded a 53 per cent drop from the previous week, which is a good hold. The movie has already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark and emerged as the highest-grossing Marathi film of all time.

The movie still has some fuel left in the tank, which will keep driving its business at the box office. Based on the current trends, the Riteish Deshmukh starrer is expected to see some spikes in the 4th weekend. If it maintains a good trend ahead, it will close its entire theatrical run around the Rs. 110-115 crore mark.

Raja Shivaji has a significant amount coming from outside Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, it will likely stay below Baipan Bhari Deva and Sairat, and that’s what the core market really is, and that’s where it should have done record numbers as well. Of course, the expectations were for even higher as films like Tanhaji and Chhaava did extraordinary numbers in the state, the former adjusting to Rs. 250 crore today while the latter crossed Rs. 300 crore. Raja Shivaji won’t even reach Rs. 100 crore in the state.

The Box Office Collections for Raja Shivaji in India are as follows:

Week/Day Box Office
Week 1 Rs. 61.75 crore
Week 2  Rs. 28.00 crore

3rd Friday Rs. 1.60 crore
3rd Saturday Rs. 3.00 crore
3rd Sunday Rs. 3.75 crore
3rd Monday Rs. 1.15 crore
3rd Tuesday Rs. 1.50 crore
3rd Wednesday Rs. 1.10 crore
3rd Thursday Rs. 0.85 crore (est.)

Total Rs. 102.70 crore
