Romeo Akbar Walter Box Office Collection Day 2: John Abraham & Mouni Roy starrer is off to an average start

If there is one actor in Bollywood who is known for an inclination towards patriotic films, it is John Abraham. John’s last two releases, Satyamev Jayate and Parmanu were on the same lines of Patriotism and his recent film, Romeo Akbar Walter aka RAW is also in the same league. The film is the story of an Indian spy who is living in Pakistan during the time of tensions between India and Pakistan back in 1971. How his life changes, is the story of the film.

While the trailer of the film left everyone intrigued, the songs didn’t really click with the audiences except Bulleya and Jee Len De. Mouni can be seen as John’s love interest in the film. The film released this Friday and John’s fans were excited to see the film. However, coming to the box office collection of RAW, the John Abraham and Mouni Roy starrer action thriller kick-started on an average note. At the end of Day 1, Romeo Akbar Walter managed to make Rs 5 Crores nett as the Box Office Collection.

This amount is much less as compared to the opening day numbers of Satyamev Jayate but it will grow depending on the word of the mouth. Over the weekend, the numbers might increase as well. Though RAW earned a little less than the expected number of Rs 6 to 6. 5 Crores, over the weekend, we can expect steady growth in the business of the film as the other film, PM Narendra Modi Biopic which had to release on the same day got postponed. Hence, the Box Office numbers will be clearer after the weekend.
