SOTY 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday's film surrenders to De De Pyaar De

Student of the Year 2's second Monday aka SOTY Day 11 box office collection has come. And it doesn't paint a good picture for its students.

Student of the Year 2 struggles to keep up in the race at the box office. The Dharma Production movie stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in the lead. While it opened with a decent box office collection during its opening weekend, the Puneet Malhotra directorial couldn't sustain its run through the second week. With Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De releasing over the weekend, the collections of SOTY 2 have been affected further. As per Box Office India, Student of the Year 2's Day 11 collection doesn't pose a happy picture. 

The website reveals that the movie earned another Rs 1.15 crore nett on its Day 11 at the box office. This brings Student of the Year 2's total box office collection to Rs 61.18 crore. The movie saw a huge drop on its second weekend at the box office. SOTY 2 earned Rs 1.50 crore, Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.50 crore in its second weekend. The movie posed a second-weekend collection of Rs 6 crore. 

It is safe to assume that the Student of the Year 2's second-weekend collection was impacted by the release of De De Pyaar De. The rom-com movie starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh opened to an impressive weekend collection. The movie earned opened to a collection of Rs 8.25 crore nett on Friday. On Day 2, it collected Rs 12.5 crore. The movie ended its opening weekend run with Rs 14 crore on Day 3. De De Pyaar De posed an opening weekend collection of Rs 36 crore. On Monday, it recorded another Rs 5.85 crore.
