Spider-Man Brand New Day Box Office: Tom Holland starrer adds Rs 11.50 crore in 4th weekend, grosses Rs 569 crore
Tom Holland and Zendaya starrer Spider-Man: Brand New Day recorded a good hold in its 4th weekend. The movie is expected to close its entire run under the Rs. 600 crore club.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day collected Rs. 5 crore on its 4th Sunday, wrapping its 4th weekend at Rs. 11.50 crore. The movie registered a 55 per cent drop from the previous weekend. The running cume of Spider-Man: Brand New Day reached Rs. 569.25 crore (Rs. 470.15 crore nett) so far. Including 3D collections, the real gross figure stands at Rs. 626.25 crore.
The Tom Holland starrer is looking to close this week around Rs. 20 crore or so, which will take its running cume to Rs. 580 crore or so. The movie is expected to slow down next weekend, while facing Toxic. Based on current trends, the superhero movie is likely to close its entire run under Rs. 600 crore gross mark.
The movie is an All-Time Blockbuster. There are probably seven other films since Jurassic Park in 1994 that can be classified as ATBBs, including Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way of Water. Other potential contenders are Spider-Man 3, 2012, and Furious 7.
The Tom Holland film could also go on to hit 2 crore footfalls, which only two films have managed to do: Titanic and Avengers: Endgame. Brand New Day is currently the third-most-watched Hollywood film in India, with footfalls of around 1.9 crore.
