Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 9: Hrithik Roshan's film records impressive growth on second Saturday

Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 completed two weeks at the box office and looks like there's no slowing down for the film. After crossing Rs 50 crore in just three days since its release, the film is now inching closer to the 100 crore club. Super 30 which is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar opened to mixed reviews. But largely, the audiences have been loving the film which portrays the struggles of Anand with a dose of Bollywood drama. 

According to a report in Box Office India, Super 30 showed extraordinary growth on day 9, i.e. Saturday as it collected Rs 8.25-8.50 crore nett. The collections went up around 80-85 per cent on the second Saturday. This takes the film's total box office collection to Rs 88 crore nett plus. 

The report added that Super 30 has been performing extremely well in metros, especially in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Super 30 continued to mint money throughout the week and saw an impressive growth on Friday and Saturday. However, with the release of The Lion King, Super 30 may face some competition as the English and Hindi versions of the film are expected to do well in India.
