Toxic (Hindi) Advance Booking Box Office: Yash starrer set to take a flying start; Sells 30,000 tickets in National Chains
Yash's upcoming film Toxic: A fairy tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geethu Mohandas, took a banger start in the advance booking. The movie is all set for a solid opening.
After KGF Chapter 2, Yash is returning to the big screens with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups next weekend. The movie opened advance booking this morning, and the initial reports seem extraordinary. As of 4 PM (Thursday, August 21), the Yash starrer sold over 30,000 tickets in the top national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, for the opening day in North India. That's a superb start.
With 5 days still to go for the release, the Geethu Mohandas-directed film has the potential to smash phenomenal sales before the premiere show, depending on whether the film maintains the same pace. The start of the advance is at Rs. 50 crore net opening level. Whether it sustains there needs to be seen.
The fate of Toxic will be crucial for Yash as he is returning to screens after a long gap of 4 years. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshaye Oberoi, and others. Mounted on a huge scale, Toxic is a big pan-India outing that’s also releasing in English in international markets.
