Toy Story 5 Worldwide Box Office: Crosses USD 800 million mark, sets eye on USD 1 billion club
Pixar’s Toy Story 5, directed by Andrew Stanton, smashed over the USD 800 million by the end of its 4th Wednesday at the worldwide box office.
Toy Story 5, starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack among others, is performing well at the box office. The movie has smashed the USD 800 million mark at the worldwide box office. Of this, it fetched a huge USD 427.3 million in the international markets only.
Allied to its domestic cume of USD 381.3 million, the running cume of Toy Story 5 reached USD 808.6 million as of its 4th Wednesday. Based on current trends, the movie is all set to cross the USD 850 million mark by the end of this weekend.
Directed by Andrew Stanton, the movie will release in Germany on July 23, which will further help its global box office run. The movie is almost certain to enter the billion-dollar box office club. Considering its trends and the way it's performing, the animated film is likely to wind up its entire run around USD 1.05 to USD 1.2 billion. However, a lot will depend on how it holds in front of Minions & Monsters and the newly released Moana.
