A certain radio host and presenter of the German radio station, Bayern 3 found himself in a serious internet controversy after his derogatory and shameful racist remarks against global sensations BTS, went viral. The septet's beloved fandom, also known as ARMY, are furious with the disparaging comments and demand an official apology from the Bavarian show host and presenter for the same.

In a viral video, uploaded by an ARMY, Bayern 3's radio show host and presenter Mr Matthias Matuschik is seen making distasteful remarks against the boy band. He compared BTS to the deadly coronavirus. He also criticised their recent performance on MTV Unplugged and labelled it as a 'paradox in itself'. He also challenged the septet's audacity to cover the English rock band, Coldplay's legendary song, Fix You, as part of their setlist. He called it a 'Blasphemy', labelling himself as an 'Atheist.' He called their performance 'outrageous' and demanded the group be sent to North Korea for the next 20 years.

The disparaging and distasteful comments haven't gone down well with ARMY, who have been trending,' Rassismus Bei Bayern 3',  'Apologise To BTS', 'Racism Is Not An Opinion' and 'We Love You Bangtan'. That's not all, ARMY is also demanding an official apology from Bayern 3 radio station and Mr Matthias Matuschik.
