Although the series is inspired by the Bangtan Boys, it is being treated as a work of fiction. Youth's production team was quoted explaining, "This is a work that captures the reality of seven boys in a real but pleasant way, but it also shows complexity with the psychology. Being able to understand the characters, having acting skills, and having chemistry between the different characters was the most important thing for us. We completed a lineup of young actors and rookies with fresh visuals that will maximize the charms of each individual character. Please look forward to that synergy."

Anonymous : I won't be watching and I kinda hope it flops. Its weird to have actors play them. No one can replace the members. I know they don't have time to make a drama but then maybe big hit shouldn't have tried making a drama in the first place. I dont really like the hyyh universe anyway either.

Anonymous : it's great that a drama based on BTS is coming but fitting some other actors in their role is really not good...they should have acted themselves......i really don't like these fellow actors replacing BTS..

Anonymous : I don’t understand why people are upset about this drama not being played by BTS members. I guess they haven’t watched their MV’S where they have already portrayed theses characters. Also the next step has been the recent anime version of these MV’S. Isn’t the next logical move the drama. Please people you can love BTS (which I do very dearly) and also accept the drama. The guys are busy (new album BE which they will be busy promoting) starting RUN BTS up again. These guys are busy busy busy as always. Stay healthy and happy BTS!

Anonymous : Won't watch. Don't want to see made up story. Would rather see story about their beginning at Big Hit and how hard it was for them, their emotions etc. You can't replace BTS with some random actors. They are the best to tell their own story.

Anonymous : Do you think they have enough time for a drama? They are already very busy with their schedules

Anonymous : It's about Bangtan Universe not just some made up stories neither it is based on their real life. The characters amd stories are all fictional just their names are the same as our boys. Remember those characters aren't the real them. So anyone can act for those roles as long as they are good enough for it.

Anonymous : honestly speaking i don't think i will be watching. it would be way too weird watching a drama based on bts members.....not being played by bts members. it's a strange concept to me, like why not just have the guys act as their own characters? that's a big part of the appeal- being able to watch bts content WITH BTS ACTUALLY IN IT.
