BTS' Dynamite keeps its steady pace on Billboard Hot 100 at No 2; Remains No 1 on Global 200 Excl US

Billboard Hot 100 this week saw BTS' Dynamite slip from its numero uno position to No. 2 while continuing to dominate Billboard Global 200 Excl US at No. 1 for a third consecutive week.

When it was announced that BTS' Dynamite had debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100; making the septet the first Korean act to achieve this milestone, the members and BTS ARMY rejoiced like there was no tomorrow. What was the cherry on top of the delicious cake was that Dynamite continued its momentum by topping the prestigious music chart for the second consecutive week.

While slipping one spot to No. 2 in its third week making way for Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion's WAP, Dynamite made a comeback to No. 1 in its fourth week. As for week 5, Dynamite has slipped back to No 2. as Travis Scott ft. Young Thug and M.I.A.'s Franchise topped the Billboard Hot 100. Dynamite continues to dominate Global Excl. U.S. chart for a third week at No. 1 while slipping to No. 2 on Billboard Global 200 just behind WAP, after topping the chart for two consecutive weeks. BTS also achieved their first Top 40 hit with Dynamite on Billboard Radio Songs rising from No. 42 to 39 with 23.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, up 11%. Dynamite also adds a sixth week atop Billboard Digital Song Sales with 86,000 downloads sold, down 44% while placing No. 13 from its previous 12th spot on Billboard Streaming Songs with 13.7 million streams, down 2%.

Meanwhile, BTS is currently gearing up for their highly-awaited online concert MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E, which takes place on October 10 and 11. The septet will be performing songs from their album Map of the Soul: 7. Moreover, BTS will also be releasing their next album BE on November 20.
