BTS seemed to be having the time of their lives while in Mexico. After meeting the President and interacting with a massive crowd of almost 50,000 fans who waited for them outside the Presidential Palace, the singers are not done and seem to be out for some more fun, as on Friday local time, members SUGA, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook stepped out to attend a local wrestling match. Videos and photos from the lucha libre have surfaced online, including moments shared by the stars themselves, resulting in a whirlwind of laughter in the fandom.

BTS’ day out in Mexico includes a run-in with some wrestlers

A surprise awaited the fans of BTS as late Friday, it was observed that four of the members stepped out to attend a wrestling match. Getting front row seats was a delight for anyone watching the same match as the four Korean stars took to the absolute experience by wearing masks that resembled those of Mistico, the Mexican player they seemed to be supporting at the game.

In fact, the quartet managed to have a first-hand view and taste of the full Mexican wrestling match event as soon as Mistico was thrown at them at one point. Taken aback by the sudden proximity to the player, Jin bounced back, having rid his handsome face of the mask, and remained in full support of the player. Soon, he, SUGA, and Jimin booed the opponent as he appeared to be having the upper hand and rammed the Mexican star to the ground and away from the ring.

The singers seemed to have had the best time at the match sans V and RM who went for an art run around the city and J-Hope who was MIA. They shared photos from their masked escapade and expressed their excitement to have checked out the game.

Interestingly, Mistico, who seemed to be aware of BTS' patronage, managed to give a tribute to the stars with their logo on the back of his jacket.
