BTS members earn a whopping 10 Million USD each within minutes of Big Hit Shares debuting at the stock market

Big Hit Entertainment has been listed at the Korea Composite Stock Price Index. Within a few minutes of the listing, BTS members reportedly earning a jaw-dropping amount courtesy their shares in the company.

On October 15, Big Hit Entertainment debuted officially listed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI). The entertainment agency, which manages BTS, witnessed an impressive opening at the stock exchange and BTS members have benefitted from the same. According to OSEN, via Soompi, Big Hit debuted at the trading market at 270,000 won (approximately $235), which is the double of the initial public offering (IPO) price of 135,000 won (approximately $118), at 9 am KST. Soon after the debut, the prices skyrocketed an impressive height. 

Koreaboo reports that within a half-hour of the stock market debut, the shares jumped to 335,000 won ($292 USD) before it dropped to 300,000 Won per share. What does this mean for BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook? Well, the international publication reports that the stock held by each member is worth a whopping 18 million USD!

Speaking about the IPO listing, Big Hit Entertainment founder and CEO Bang Si Hyuk said, “Thank you to all of the people who gave their unsparing support and help to Big Hit and made it possible for us to go public today.
