When Jungkook asked for some Savage Love, the ARMY did not hold back and now, history has been made! BTS collaborated with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo to drop the Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat) - BTS Remix. The song features JK crooning the English lyrics while J-Hope and Suga have performed the rap in the song. Savage Love has been showered with abundant love and today, it comfortably sits on the summit of Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song had debuted at the eighth spot last week and it catapulted its way to the top spot in just one week.

This is the second song for BTS and Derulo to top the chart while Jawsh 685 achieved the milestone for the first time. If you thought that was all for BTS to celebrate, you have clearly forgotten about Dynamite. The peppy track featuring all the members of the septet comfortably sat on the second spot of the chart. Billboard reports with Savage Love and Dynamite, BTS becomes the first group since 2009 to claim the top two spots with their singles. In June-July 2009, Black Eyed Peas held the top two spots for four weeks with Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling.

BTS has become the fourth group in history to achieve this milestone. The list includes OutKast (eight weeks, 2003-04); Bee Gees (five, 1978); and The Beatles (10, 1964). Apart from this, BTS also becomes the first all-Korean act to achieve the gold and silver spots of the chart.  BTS rubs shoulders with Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Roddy Ricch to become the few artists with most #1 hits on Hot 100 this year.

Apart from Billboard Hot 100, BTS also sits on the top spot of Billboard Global 200 top 10 with Savage Love while Dynamite shifted to the third spot for BLACKPINK to take over the second spot with Lovesick Girls. BTS found the second and third spot on Global 200 Excl. U.S. top 10 with Savage Love and Dynamite, respectively.

Congratulations, BTS and the ARMY!
