Dear Oppa: As ARMY marks 8 years with Jimin, a BTS fan from India deems Mochi an angel with a heart of gold
After BTS member Suga, the K-pop group's fandom is now marking eight years with Jimin. For the unversed, the fandom aka the ARMY is looking back at the announcement days of each member. As fans share heartfelt messages, take a walk down the memory lane to reflect on how far each member has come and their milestones, a fan from India penned an open letter to Mochi, deeming him an angel. They confessed that ChimChim brings a sense of solace to their soul.
Read the letter below:
A Poem for gratitude for Jimin as its 8 years already.
An open letter for Park Jimin. I am an ARMY from INDIA
.
.
I was trying to write for so long, but words just can never define
The solace you bring to my soul, The way you always make me shine
Jimin-ah
I wish I could ever tell you, how precious is your existence to me
My praises for you can cover the world, so I thought to just let it be
Those pretty little eyes to keep the dreams safe, your mochi cheeks whenever you smile
The innocence that your smile holds in, makes my heart warm from so many miles..
When you fly with your voice and you flow with your moves
The world starts twinkling bright from the ridges to grooves..
A kind and humble soul with lots of love stuffed in.
You emit the light this world needs, you hold our hands, whatever situation we are in
Sometimes you be an angel in white, sometimes you give strength in black.
The colours in between you carry around colours my world whenever I lack.
I still don't know exactly how to thank you
But decided to start with these lines
You are an angel with a heart of gold
May you stay happy and may you more shine...
- A 95'er ARMY from India

I am 12 years old and I wish I could see them but my parents don't agree with me stanning BTS. For some reason my family has this way of thinking that I can't even begin to explain. They don't realize that I'm getting older and I'm gonna fangirl and have crushes on people I've never met. So I can't tell them that I kinda like Suga, or that I actually love BTS bc if I ever said I love BTS then I would probably get laughed at and lectured. They don't believe in stuff like that, they don't think it's possible to love an Idol, they don't think it's possible for an Idol to truly love their fans, they don't think it's possible for an Idol to be anything but bad. They don't understand, they say that their just strict to protect me, but the only thing that they've done is bring down my confidence, make me think it's rude to speak up for myself and make me uncomfortable talking to them. They make it uncomfortable to the point where they don't even know me anymore, so they don't know BTS has picked up the broken pieces of me and pit it back together but not the same way it was before, they took the pieces of me that were laying on the ground and made a piece of art with it. They'll never understand what BTS has done for me bc they refuse to look deeper, they refuse to believe that their children are hurting.

I am 15 years old. Even if I try my best my parents won't let me go cause they don't understand what you taught us, we knew everything but failed to express and forgot its importance but then you came and merged our broken world piece by piece by applying love and effort into it. And now see how the newly built world works beautifully. You taught us to love ourselves ☺️.........and I am proud to have known BTS since 4 years
