Baekhyun is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. Baekhyun began training under SM Entertainment in 2011. A few months later, he made his debut in 2012 as a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO, its sub-group EXO-K and later on its sub-unit EXO-CBX. He is also the leader of South Korean supergroup SuperM. Following the release of several albums and extended plays with EXO, Baekhyun pursued a solo career in 2019, releasing his first extended play, ‘City Lights’. The EP was a commercial success, selling more than half-a-million copies in 2019, and becoming the best-selling album by a solo artist of the 2010s in South Korea.

Today's heartwarming letter in our Dear Oppa series has been penned by Sandhya from India to EXO’s Baekhyun. Read her letter below.

My dear Byun Baekhyun,

Falling in love with EXO is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in my life. To stan such beautiful souls gives me so much happiness that I can't describe in words, although to choose one bias in EXO is like the toughest thing in the world, but my ultimate bias is you.... I know the current situation is so difficult because you are in the military, serving for the nation and am so proud of you. Everyone loves you so much because you are the happy pill for all exols..... Am praying for your safe return, as you said that waiting is long and we can go somewhere if we want, but I assure you I'll wait for you till the very end. Hyunie Saranghae
