Dear Oppa: An Indian Shawol says SHINee's Lucifer was the 1st K pop song she heard that made her heart flutter
No matter how many times one says it, Shawols will always have the biggest smiles on their faces when it's whispered: "SHINee's back." The Princes of K-pop made their monumental comeback after going on a hiatus for three years because Onew, Key and Minho had to complete their mandatory military service. As the trio returned last year, along with Taemin, 2021 saw them take over the K-pop scene yet again with their hit album, Don't Call Me.
Today's heartwarming letter in our Dear Oppa series has been penned by Aleesha from India to SHINee. Read her letter below:
I'm Aleesha from South India.. I'm a huge fan of kpop since 2013. The first kpop song I listened was SHINee's Lucifer which made my heart flutter. Through you, I got to know more about kpop. I have watched Minho oppa visited India and it made me sad that no one recognised him. If I was there, I would definitely say that I'm the fan of SHINee. It's been three years SHINee comeback with new hiphop style song named "Don't Call Me" and it was woah. I'll always cherish you SHINee oppasss and will always be there for you guys... Tons of love from Aleesha.. I'll come to Korea to see my idols in person.. That's one of my bucket list. Physically you guys are 4, but mentally you guys are always 5. Oppas hwaiting... Sarangheyo oppaass...
