Amid controversy involving her brother’s actions and her cutting him off from any financial support related to her company BLISSOO, BLACKPINK member Jisoo got embroiled in another issue concerning a photoshoot of hers. A designer called Benjamin Voortmans, who runs the brand Judassime, claimed that the fits lent to her team for the project were not returned even after many months. As online attention grew, he retracted his statement and shared that he never meant to harm the singer herself but only intended to use her name to bring attention to the matter.

Designer reiterates Jisoo was not responsible for the unreturned clothes

After staging an alleged expose in desperate need of his clothing to be returned to him, fashion Benjamin Voortmans shared that he never meant to involve Jisoo personally. He shared multiple social media updates clarifying his stance. He wrote, “I want to publicly clarify the situation regarding Jisoo and her team, and also take responsibility for the way I initially addressed it. First of all, neither Jisoo nor Blissoo ever stole, handled, shipped, or personally kept any garments. At no point was it my intention to accuse her directly of doing so.
Here are the facts:
My garments were sent to Paris in December last year for a planned shoot involving Jisoo in Korea. Over time, the shooting dates were postponed multiple times. As the months passed, the garments remained unavailable, and no clear updates or resolution were provided.”

He went on to share that the missing pieces from his collection have severely impacted his business as they hold great importance for him. Confirming that there has been an update on the items being returned, he wishes for a separation of the issue from the artist.

Previously, Voortmans shared alleged accusatory updates on social media concerning outfits sent to South Korea for an album cover shoot. Despite it being many months since, the clothes remained there and were not sent back to him. He demanded that Jisoo handle the situation and get the items returned to him. He repeatedly called out the unfairness of the issue, where no contact had been made to clarify regarding his missing items, despite him considering legal action at one point.
