BTS singer Jungkook recently took the internet by surprise after fans noticed that his Instagram account had disappeared. While many wondered whether the artist had deleted his handle, as he had done in the past, the truth appears to be quite different.

Did BTS’ Jungkook delete his Instagram handle?

Jungkook’s social media presence became a major talking point online on May 27, 2026, after fans discovered that the singer’s Instagram account had suddenly disappeared, leading to confusion and concern among ARMY.

On the same day, Jungkook added to the mystery by sharing a screenshot on his TikTok account along with a “?”, seemingly reacting to the entire situation.

According to the post, he shared a screenshot of a notice he had received on his TikTok story and used BTS’ song “No.29” as the background audio. As per the notice, Jungkook would lose access to his account if he did not request a review within 180 days. The suspension date was listed as May 27, 2026.

While further details regarding the issue have not yet been revealed, Instagram reportedly explained that the account was restricted for allegedly not following its terms of service related to intellectual property rights, including trademark policies.

In the screenshot, Instagram’s message read, “Your account, or activity on your account, does not follow our policies regarding intellectual property rights.”

Earlier, Jungkook had deleted his Instagram account in February 2023, which had amassed around 52.4 million followers. He later opened a new account in July last year, which quickly grew to over 21.61 million followers before being suspended.
