10. Afghan Jalebi (Phantom):

This Katrina Kaif song sung by Asrar, brings out the sexy belly moves in one. Though there was nothing special in its video, the beats of the track were a hit with many.

11. Main Hoon Hero Tera (Hero):

How can a song sung by Salman Khan not be a hit? I mean a Geeky Salman Khan with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, this song won many hearts for its endearing romance and cute lyrics.

12. Gulaabo (Shaandaar):

Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani's Gulaabo redefined dance number! The song featuring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt went viral for its whacky lyrics and peppy music.

13. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP):

Though initially many didn't like this song, this soft sweet number  from Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo went viral, especially because of its dubsmashes. Sung by Palak Mucchal and composed by Himesh Reshammiya, this one still plays on our minds.

14. Matargashti (Tamasha):

A naughty cute dance number featuring one of the hottest on-screen couple of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was a rage. Crooned by Mohit Chauhan and composed by A.R. Rahman, Matargashti is my personal favourite. Special mention to the Matargashti step! Don't we all love it?

15. Agar Tum Saath Ho (Tamasha):

Undoubtedly the best heartbreak number that brings tears and goosebumps at the same time, Agar Tum Saath Ho is sure to make it to the playlist. Alka Yagnik and Arijit Singh totally nail this one.

16. Malhari (Bajirao Mastani):

Ranveer is epitome of energy and so is Vishal Dadlani. So when the duo come together, they are sure to create sparks! Malhari from Bajirao Mastani is energetic, powerful and leaves you spellbound.

17. Pinga (Bajirao Mastani):

Beauties Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra flawlessly grooved to this song sung by Shreya Ghoshal. Excellent music, great choreography take this song to another level.

18. Gerua (Dilwale):

When Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol meet on-screen, they are bound to create magic. And Gerua sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra just explains that. A wonderful romantic number that leaves you wanting for more. The cherry on the cake was the exotic locations where the song was shot. Breathtaking!

19. Janam Janam (Dilwale):

Another SRK-Kajol number that leaves you spellbound is this another Arijit, Antara Mitra song. We absolutely love it, how about you?

20. Jeena Jeena (Badlapur):

When an Atif Aslam sings a song, it is sure to touch the chords of your heart. Jeena Jeena is one such soul-stirring number. Its soothing music, lovely lyrics make this song one of the most loved.

Special Mention:

Bombay Velvet Album:

Though Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet was a disaster at the box office and even its songs didn't work with many, the music of the film was indeed good. It boasted of some amazing Jazz Music and was successful in recreating the 60s era. Amit Trivedi's compositions and Neeti Mohan's voice churned some exceptional numbers like Dhadam Dhadam, Mohabbat Buri Bimari Hai, Naak Pe Gussa.

Comments

Zinda from the movie Talvar and Mann Kasturi Re from Masaan were some of my favourites.

Where is Ghani Bawari???? That was amazing!

I also enjoyed "Baaton ko Teri" and "Teri Meri Kahani", Arijit Singh is the winner of 2015. Also the overplayed on the radio, Big B's 'Piddly Si Baatein ' didn't make the list, it is quite catchy. I do not enjoy PRDP's and Hamari Adhuri Kahani's title tracks and Afghan Jalebi. Humnava and Hansi from Hamari Ad.Kahani is better.

Afghan jalebi will NEVER make it onto my playlist.

Where are the songs of 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'?
Moh Moh Ke Dhaage was easily the best Hindi song of 2015.

Deewani Mastani from Bajirao Mastani should be on top.

Why? the video is good, but the song is average

deewani mastani is very beautiful song...it near to reach 20 millions on you tube....sherya ghosal voice is like jannat.....why ignore this song???

my favorite.. gulaaabooooooooooo, zara ittar gira do :D

Thank you for this list...now I know which music to buy!

Liked 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage' from DLKH so much. Deewani Mastani was way better than pinga and malhari. And liked 'zindagi kuch to bata' from BB than 'Selfie le le'. Dhadaam dhadaam from bombay velvet should have been in the list.

Shaam Shaandar is a jam too

What the hell "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP)" is doing in list ? It was so annoying
There was not even a single song this year that could make u dance. All songs were quite average. Chittyyaa Kalaya and Sooraj Dooba hai were bit entertaining. But But Not a big hit/entertaining song. Sad.

1.JEE KARDA
2.SUN SAATHIYA
3.JANAM JANAM
4.HAMARI ADHOORI KAHANI (JUKEBOX )
5.MAIN HOON HERO TERA
6.GULABO
DEWAAANI MASTAANI SHOULD BE THERE (BEST OF 2015)
