The festive season of Navaratri is here, adding a spring in our steps and a tune to our notes. The much celebrated festival brings with it the very popular garba dances and folklores. Bollywood has also shared the magic of the festival through its movies and dance numbers. The popular melodies from the Garba numbers of Bollywood movies have brightened many a navratri for us. However, it is not just us, who have sweet memories of this festival.

We noticed that many of the popular Garba numbers featured real love birds, at the time. It seems that their hearts beat in tune with the dhols, for real. Well, that is perhaps what added to the charm of these Garba numbers that have become a part and parcel of our Dusshera nights.

Doli Taro from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

This is from the very popular Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. This is the first and last time Aishwarya and Salman ever worked together and bawy weren't they crackling! The two allegedly fell in love during this time, which came across in the movie and the song too. The song is still extremely popular at Dandiya shows where the crowd rocks to the melodious music by Ismail Darbar.

Nagada Sang Dhol Baje from Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram-Leela

The song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal & Osman Mir while the music is by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Well, we all know Deepika-Ranveer's chemistry and how real it is! The song brings this loving partnership splendidly across.

O Sheronwali from Suhaag

This vintage number from the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Suhaag is sung by Asha Bhosle and the late Mohd Rafi. Though this was released in 1979, the song retains the same charm and catchy-ness 35 years post its release. And to speak of Big B and Rekha's chemistry, need we try to explain?

Bani Bani from Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

We know that Kareena and Hrithik have come a long way since this movie in 2003. However, none can deny that these two shared some real-vibe chemistry in those days, when they were rumoured to have had the hots for each other. The number, which had Bebo and Duggu grooving, was composed by Anu Malik and sung by Chitra.
