Today, on the occasion of his birthday, let's take a look at a few of Ayushmann's films which show us that he is the star of the common man.

Vicky Donor

In his debut film, Ayushmann played the role of a Punjabi guy, who becomes a sperm donor. This is a topic which many are not comfortable talking about but secretly indulge in so as to have babies of their own. With this film, Ayushmann showed that this process is not shameful and that people need to be more open about it.

Nautanki Saala

Many a time, it so happens that you try to become a cupid but end up becoming a lover instead. In this film, Ayushmann tries his hard to make a girl fall in love with Kunaal Roy Kapur's character, but he ends up becoming head over heels in love with her.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha

This film showed that love comes in all sizes. In Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Ayushmann is married to an overweight girl and he feels ashamed to bring her in front of his peers. The negativity in his mind increases so much that they both get to the verge of a divorce. But eventually, love has to win the race!

Shubh Mangal Savdhan

Ayushmann yet again played a character with a problem which several men face but don't have the guts to talk about. In the movie, Khurrana played the role of a young guy who suffers from erectile dysfunction. Due to this, he plans to call off his wedding as it can bring a bad name to himself and his family.

Badhaai Ho

The trailer of his soon-to-be-released film was unveiled earlier this week and it left people in splits. Moreover, people couldn't stop feeling empathy towards Ayushmann's character. In the film, Ayushmann's parents are all set to become parents at the time when their first child is around 30 years of age. The actor in the whole trailer is embarrassed by the fact that his parents indulge in sex at their age and also for the fact that they will be welcoming a child when their firstborn is of marriageable age.
