As we celebrate this always high on energy actor Ranveer Singh's birthday today, we would like to take a walk down memory lane from the time this enigmatic actor stepped into the world of Indian cinema. Ranveer Singh's debut film was a romantic comedy called Band Baaja Baaraat. Since then the actor has been climbing the ladder of success with such great speed and panache that it is hard to miss his winning story. Ranveer's debut saw him play the character of Bitto along with Anushka Sharma's Shruti. This fun loving light hearted character won a million hearts when the film was released. Singh got a lot of appreciation for his debut and turned out to be a true charmer both on and off-screen.

Moving on to his blockbuster hits where the powerhouse performer played the character of a lover boy, like, Band Baaja Baaraat, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Befikre, Lootera and Dil Dhadakne Do, this mighty talented actor has never failed his viewers on his acting skills and has made sure his film turnout to be true entertainers for the audience members. Ranveer Singh with his off-screen person has gained tremendous fan following especially among the younger audience that now every single look he carries to any event or in a film is immediately taken on by his fans. Such is the infectious energy of this brilliant actor that not just his fans but even his co-stars praise him very highly. His film, Dil Dhadakne Do saw him in a very urban role, where he played Kabir, a full of life character in a business family looking to find his own identity. Ranveer Singh did his best song and dance in this film while he was cruising through a vast ocean. The actor was also very impressive in his character of a rustic lover in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, alongside his wife Deepika Padukone. This film saw the steamy chemistry between the lead pair and the fans loved the magic they brought on screen as lovers.

Ranveer’s film Lootera gave him the much-needed appreciation as a serious actor, making a slight turn away from his characters that are high on emotions and energy throughout the length of the film. Ranveer Singh was calm, composed and very subtle in this film, something that the fans just did not expect. Ranveer Singh surprised everyone rather pleasantly with his portrayal Varun Srivastav, in this stunning film by Vikramaditya Motwane. Going back to being his care-free self in Befire, Ranveer Singh got a chance to explore his wild side in this film. The fans loved every bit of Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor’s characters which saw the coming together of two commitment-phobic individuals in the picturesque Paris.

Ranveer Singh did not shy away from portraying historic characters like in films Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Ranveer Singh as the fierce and strong headed warrior of the Peshwa in Bajirao Mastani won him tremendous appreciation. Even his negative character of Alauddin Khilji, where Ranveer jumped on to the dark side of playing a ruthless sultan. The element of uniqueness that Ranveer Singh brings to his characters will always be his strength. We hope Ranveer Singh continues his winning streak at the box office and delights his fans with brilliant characters.
