Varun Dhawan who marked his Bollywood debut with Student of the year has turned a year old. The heartthrob of Bollywood has come a long way in his Bollywood journey. Apart from his acting chops, he is also known for his super hot and chiseled body. For the same, he trains hard and makes sure he eats only healthy food and lead a healthy life. Varun who is a fitness freak takes to his Instagram to share photos of his post workout and during a workout and the same are major fitness goals.

For the unversed, he draws inspiration from the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He uploaded a picture of the two on Instagram and captioned th same as, “Arnold and Stallone. One at the age of 70 and the other at 69. Inspiring us all even now.”

2. His one of the fitness experts, Namrata Purohit said, Varun works out for about one and a half hours, four to six times a week depending on his schedule. He does a mix of pilates and weight training, and works on strengthening his body as well as on agility, flexibility, balance and stability."

4. Varun Dhawan has been also training with trainer Prashant Sawant. Varun once commented on fitness and said, “It's amazing that he understands that fitness is not just about how one looks but also how one feels and is able to cope with the different challenges his career throws at him. He understands the true value of being fit!”

5. Namrata had said, “Pilates has made Varun more flexible, lean, and has improved his balance. He is also better able to cope with injuries and is being able to prevent them. 6. Talking about his healthy food, he enjoys eating omelette, oatmeal and whole-wheat grain sandwich among others for breakfast. For lunch, he eats brown rice, chapatis and baked chicken. He likes to snack on lotus seeds, papaya, banana or a protein smoothie. His dinner comprises of mixed greens and grilled fish.

8. He makes sure to work out on a daily basis for at least two hours. And his best fitness advice is to never miss a warm-up session.
