Hosts England and Team India will clash for the 100th time in ODIs in the 38th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. India, the only side which is unbeaten in the tournament will be the more confident bunch going into this encounter. A win here would seal a spot in the semis for Virat Kohli and his men. Barring the performances of a few middle-order batsmen they have performed exceptionally well. They would look to win as many league games as possible and finish at the top of the table so as to get a relatively easier opponent in the semis.

Meanwhile, England had a smooth sailing in the tournament until the game against Afghanistan. A couple of losses against Sri Lanka and Australia has put the hosts in a spot of bother. They now need to win both their games against two tough opponents- India and New Zealand to qualify for the semis.
