EXCLUSIVE: Sakshi says that Sushant and I capture Dhoni and her chemistry - Kiara Advani

M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story will hit the theatres on September 30, this year. The film stars Kiara Advani, Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film traces the journey of MS Dhoni from being a TC to one of India's most successful skipper. M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story will delve into Dhoni's personal life - his love affair and his married life. 

Although both Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi knew each other since childhood, they did not fall in love till they grew up. The couple got married on July 4, 2010, and Dhoni’s friends from sports, politics and Bollywood was in attendance. Mahi and Sakshi are unarguably one of the cutest couples of the cricketing world. Kiara Advani will be playing the role of Sakshi in the film. 

In a candid conversation with Pinkvilla.com, Kiara revealed that Sakshi hasn't watched the film yet. She said, "She hasn't seen the film yet, but she saw the song, Jab Tak. The only reaction I got from her was after she saw Jab Tak and that's really sweet of her and all the hand gestures you do when you like something. She said that we both capture their chemistry, so that's the verdict for me. I am half-way approved by them. I look forwao her feedback after watching the film."

Talking more about Sakshi and how she met her for the first time, the Fugly actor told us, "Yes, but the meeting happened after we already got talking on the phone. Let me start from the beginning. I also knew her as everybody else. I had seen her couple of pictures online and interviews of MS Dhoni talking about Sakshi. But again, I was very limited. Once I got on for the film and a day before shooting for the first schedule of the film, Sushant had a voice recording of Sakshi talking about their journey, how she met Dhoni and about herself. He shared that with me and that gave me a good jumpstart before I had gone on sets. I gave myself a vibe to go with a certain mindset to get into the film. The first thing we did was started talking on the phone."

She further added, "I reached out to her and she's a very approachable girl and to talk to her is the easiest thing. I had no need to ask her questions as she herself kept talking about it. She's very chilled out and completely transparent and that's something I really admire about her. And then conversations about they met and all started happening and we started discussing food joints, travel and somewhere I realized that there's a lot of similarities and of course I could relate to her. I felt like that I know this girl."

"She is like a friend or she's similar to who I am. It got confirmed when I met her for the first time and literally she is like me, this is me. She is very lively and completely unfazed by all the glamour around. She helped me a lot and send me pictures of herself, her college days and her wedding pictures so that we could stick to authenticity. All those pictures really helped us," added Kiara.
