Samridhii Shukla has today become a household name. Even though he has worked in only two TV shows, she was able to make a place for herself in the hearts of her audience. But despite working on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for the past three years, she still can’t believe being part of one of the most successful shows. While talking to Pinkvilla, she bared her heart.
Samridhii Shukla reflects on bagging Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Actress and voiceover artist Samridhii Shukla made her acting debut with her portrayal of Saavi Goyal Dalmiya in Saavi Ki Savaari. In 2023, she joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Abhira Sharma Poddar.
After leading the popular TV series with Rohit Purohit, her life changed for good. When asked how she feels about bagging Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai early on in her career, the actress exclusively told Pinkvilla that it was probably possible because of a divine intervention.
The young star further added in the interview with us, “It would be an understatement to say that I am blessed. Ye kuch divine timing ya luck… Mehnat toh mai roz karti hu, but iss cheez ko toh mai divine timing ko hi shray dungi ki second show hona Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, itna bada show. (This was some divine timing or luck. I work hard every day, but I would credit the divinity for making this happen. I got such a big show as my second.)”

Samridhii further divulged that even though it’s been three years since she has been playing the popular character, she still thinks about how producer Rajan Shahi of Director's Kut Productions and the team thought of giving a new girl like her such a big responsibility. Now, she is leading the fourth generation in the show, when the earlier three generations have already proved their mettle and received immense love from the audience.
“I didn’t have any fan backing. I had just come, but it still astonishes me,” the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame stated.
