Welcome to the Jungle Exclusive: Makers of Akshay Kumar starrer to bring back Uncha Lamba Kad and Welcome title track
Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi starrer Welcome to the Jungle, the third installment in the Welcome franchise is set to release on June 26.
Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Arshad Warsi are all set to return to the madness with Welcome to the Jungle, the third installment of the blockbuster Welcome franchise. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film is slated to release on June 26, and Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the makers are recreating two iconic tracks from the first Welcome film to tap into nostalgia factor for the audience.
According to sources, the team has decided to bring back the chartbuster tracks Uncha Lamba Kad and the iconic Welcome title song in the upcoming part. "The idea is to recreate the fun and nostalgia associated with the first Welcome and hence they decided to reinvent them for the new generation while retaining the original vibe," confirmed a source.
Interestingly, Welcome to the Jungle will feature a total of 4-5 songs, two recreated tracks from the original film and the rest completely original numbers composed specially for the jungle adventure comedy. The music album is expected to be one of the film's major highlights.
The film boasts one of the biggest ensemble casts in recent times, with over 20 actors, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani among others.
Sources further inform that the makers are planning to kickstart the promotional campaign from next week. With nostalgia, comedy, music, and a massive star cast coming together, the team is planning an extensive marketing campaign. Though much delayed, Welcome to the Jungle promises full-on madness and entertainment with its massive star cast.
