EXO member D.O. was discharged from his mandatory military service on January 25 and was welcomed with open arms by EXO-L who trended #WelcomeBackKyungsoo, referring to the 28-year-old singer's real name Doh Kyung-soo, on Twitter. A day post his discharge, D.O. hosted a V Live session where he revealed some details about his future plans to the fandom while treating the fandom with his million-dollar smile.

While fans are eagerly awaiting for D.O.'s solo album the That's Okay singer gave an exciting update on the progress sharing, "I’m working hard on it. The songs are ready, and I am working on the lyrics. Once the lyrics are done, I’ll record the songs and let everyone hear them," via Sports Chosun and Soompi. Furthermore, when a fan asked him as to when the album will be ready, Kyung-soo honestly confessed, "I’m not sure. It will be out when it’s all complete. I’ll do my best to hurry up and release it."

As for his acting plans, the 100 Days My Prince star revealed that he's filming for the movie The Moon alongside veteran actor Sol Kyung-gyu of The Merciless fame but can't divulge any details as of yet. However, D.O. did mention The Moon is "really fun" and that he hopes everyone looks forward to it.

During the V Live session, EXO's Sehun also made a surprise appearance as he gushed about how happy he was to see his Kyung-soo hyung back from the military and made plans of going on a hike with him. Kyung-soo confessed that he missed his friends, managers and especially his EXO bandmates during his military service.

On an ending note, Kyung-soo revealed that the reason why he did the V Live session was to let EXO-L know that he came back safely from his military service. Wishing everyone a good night, D.O. told fans to eat delicious food and always be healthy. Hoping that the fandom will be happy, Kyung-soo concluded, "I’ll work hard to prepare [for my future activities] and become a person who can be a positive influence to others. So please look forward to it. Thank you."
