GOT7 maknae Kim Yugyeom has officially joined the South Korean hip-hop and R&B label, Above Ordinary Music Group (AOMG) founded by rapper Jay Park, earlier this month. The GOT7 star has been busy preparing for the release of new music under his new label. In a recent interview with Elle Korea, the K pop star revealed his favourite collection of gifts he has received from loved ones over time and the most special birthday present he received from his 97 liner friends Jungkook, Jaehyun, Cha Eun Woo and Mingyu.

97 liner idols are close friends with one another and also have a separate group chat amongst themselves. The group consists of GOT7'S Yugyeom and Bambam, BTS' Jungkook, SEVENTEEN's Mingyu, The8, DK and NCT's Jaehyun. The group often hangs out together in their free time and exchange presents for each other's birthday too. In a recent interview with Elle Korea, Yugyeom revealed he received a special Cartier bracelet from his '97 friends for his birthday on November 17. Jungkook, Jaehyun, Mingyu and Eunwoo put in money to buy him this wonderful bracelet. He revealed that he called it the '97 L' present.

GOT7 members recently released the soul-stirring and soothing track Encore, their first group song since their departure from JYP Entertainment. Encore scored #1 on iTunes Charts in more than 50 countries including France, Thailand, Spain, Turkey and India. GOT7 became the first K-Pop group to top the iTunes Chart in the United States in 2021. Encore has become the GOT7 song with the most #1s on iTunes Charts.
