She is a bonafide pop star, but Ariana Grande is not afraid to open up and speak about mental health awareness. The 'Thank U, Next' singer often shares her new music, gives a sneak peek into her glamourous concert life but the star also does not shy away from getting attention of her fans to important issues like mental health. On Thursday, Ariana took to Instagram to share a scanned image highlighting the difference between a healthy brain, a brain dealing with post traumatic stress disorder and the third one was a a scan of Ariana's own brain .

The singer captioned the story as, "Hilarious and terrifying. Not a joke." In the picture, the "PTSD brain" has several highlighted areas, where the other picture hardly shows any outlines. Whereas, in Grande's brain scan shows multiple highlighted areas which causes enough reason to worry. Grande has also labelled her brain scan photo as "My Brain."

However, it is not yet clear as to when Grande got the brain scan and in what context it was for. But for many of her fans and followers, it's eye-opening to see the effects PTSD has on the brain. As per a E!News report, last June, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter candidly spoke about her anxiety and "signs of PTSD" with British Vogue.

Ariana Grande is one of the many celebrities who have struggled with anxiety and depression. Her own ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson caused a social media scare in December in a worrying tweet, "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore." However, the exes have now moved on with their respective lives.
