It was in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), when we first saw the inklings of a blossoming romance between Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff aka Hulk and Black Widow. However, while Bruce wanted to run away, with Nat, from the superhero life, Natasha had other plans. Eventually, Hulk ran away for good on his own, leaving Romanoff behind. While the pair reunite in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame, it was the end of what could have been a true-blood romantic relationship. But, what did Scarlett Johansson think about Brutasha's unrequited love arc?

Talking about how she felt regarding Bruce and Natasha not getting their happy ending in MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), Scarlett revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, "I think that they made a choice that was for the greater good. I think everybody must have had that where you meet someone but it's just not the right time. It just wasn't really meant to be," and added, "but I would love to do the other storyline where they have some sort of Bogart and Bacall romance."

Meanwhile, Scarlett also spoke to THR about Black Widow, which is slated to release on May 1, 2020. Talking about how the slotted summer-opening release date is usually reserved for male-oriented movies, Johansson shared, "The movie packs a big punch. If that slot is reserved for movies that pack a big punch, then we're in a good, good space."

Directed by Cate Shortland, Black Widow also stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz in pivotal roles.
