Avengers: Endgame had several outstanding moments featuring Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark aka Iron Man. From watching him play a father of an adorable little girl to making the ultimate sacrifice in the battle between Avengers vs Thanos. He also helped the MCU fandom chant a new catchphrase with "I love you 3000." While we could list all the best moments from Avengers: Endgame starring Iron Man in the centre, there is one moment that we will never forget. The scene in the discussion is when Tony meets Peter amidst the battle scene.

The moment takes places a few minutes after Doctor Strange opens several portals and paves the way for Avengers across the different parts of the world come together to fight Thanos and his army. In Avengers: Infinity War, Peter was seen disintegrating on Titan, with Doctor Strange beside him. When Peter returned, he reached for Tony. While he recalled the fight, Tony suddenly pulled Peter close and hugged him.

This scene left everyone sobbing. Avengers: Endgame writer said that the hug was important to showcase. According to Comicbook.com, Stephen McFeely revealed that it was important that Peter and Tony hugged because he had never hugged Peter before and fans know, it was long due.

"Yeah, this gets a big moment of cheer. There's so much going on here. He gets back the kid that he lost. He never hugged that kid before. There's actually a great joke in the beginning of Spider-Man [about it]," he said. We are so glad Peter and Tony hugged before Tony died. After all that they have been through, they deserved the hug.
