The director duo of Avengers: Endgame, the highest grossing film in the world, Anthony and Joe Russo have finally opened up about Spider Man's exit from Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Russo Brothers while talking to The Daily Beast said that they were not really shocked to see Spider Man leave MCU. The Russo Brothers helmed the film Avengers: Endgame which feature Spider Man in a significant role. The Russo brothers candidly admit that they must in the first place celebrate as Sony's Spider Man had a chance to feature in MCU film. The Russo Brothers further add that, the two companies agreeing to bring in Spider Man into MCU was a miracle in itself.

Anthony Russo also adds that it was very difficult to convince the MCU side to bring in Spider Man, but he also says that he felt it was crucial to get Spider Man into the MCU's timeline. Anthony Russo admits that it was a very difficult and tedious process to get Spider Man on board for MCU films. Joe Russo adds how it was a task for Kevin Feige to make the thought of Spider Man featuring in MCU films a reality.

The Russo Brothers strongly felt about including Spider Man's character into MCU and hence pushed Kevin Feige to make the inclusion of Spider Man into MCU films a reality. But, unfortunately for MCU and its fans, the dream is over. Spider Man is officially out of Marvel Cinematic Universe. This news broke many MCU fans hearts. But, the Russo Brothers are not as shocked as the fans are as they were well aware of how difficult it was in the first place to make Spider Man a part of MCU.
