After the release of Todd Phillips' Joker, which starred Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, fans are mighty excited for Matt Reeves' directorial, The Batman, which will see Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. In Joker, there were several references to Bruce Wayne and hence, it will be interesting to see the same storyline taking its course in The Batman, given they are a part of the same DC Universe. Robert's casting, in particular, drew a polarising reaction, given the casting choice.

Along with Pattinson, it was recently confirmed by Matt himself that Zoe Kravitz will be starring opposite the 33-year-old actor as Catwoman. Earlier, Selina Kyle was essayed by Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns (1992). While promoting her upcoming release, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, on Good Morning America, Michelle was asked if she had any advice to give to Zoe on portraying the role of Catwoman. "Make sure, whilst designing the costume, they consider how you’re going to go to the bathroom — minor detail... It’s an important one," Pfeiffer shared.

Michelle also revealed that playing Catwoman in Batman Returns was one of her favourite roles to date and that she is "so excited" for Zoe.

"The biggest congrats to Zoë Kravitz on landing the role of a lifetime. Well, one life anyway...⁣⁣ Enjoy the ride, Selena," Hathaway wrote along with a kiss emoticon.
