Marvel fans in India have something extra to be thankful this Thanksgiving week. As we all know Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to kick-off its phase 4 with Black Widow. The superhero movie led by Scarlett Johansson is the first MCU movie to roll out since Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Marvel Studios previously confirmed that the movie arrives on May 1, 2020. However, it has now been confirmed that Black Widow will arrive a tad early in India.

Marvel Studios has confirmed that Black Widow releases on April 30, 2020, in India. Yes, it's true! We get to see Black Widow before the US. If that wasn't enough, Black Widow is set to release in six languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Confirming the same, Bikram Duggal, Head – Studio Entertainment, Disney India, said in a statement, "Over the last few years, Marvel movies have brought about an entertainment revolution in the country. Every Super Hero from Marvel - be it Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and even the newer members like Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel – have become household names. Black Widow is one such character who has been integral to the Marvel journey and has been a fan favourite; especially in India. We have seen Natasha Romanoff as a spy, assassin and an Avenger; but she remains a mystery and fans now want to know her origin story more than ever. And as a special treat for these fans; we are releasing Black Widow a day prior to the US."

While we await the trailer, the makers have confirmed that Black Widow is set in between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. In a recent interview, Scarlett confirmed that the movie is not an origin story.
