After weeks of begging and waiting, Marvel Studios has rolled out the first Black Widow teaser trailer. The superhero movie marks the beginning of Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4. Judging by the action-packed trailer, MCU is looking at kicking-off the new phase with a bang! Black Widow is a standalone movie on the Avenger. It was previously revealed that the movie will revisit the past in more ways than one. The new teaser trailer, which sees Scarlett Johansson reprising her MCU superhero role for what seems like one last time, has now confirmed the same.

The new and first trailer starts off with Natasha Romanoff reflecting upon her past and her journey to the Avengers family. The trailer revisited the iconic ballet scene seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron and her bond with Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson's characters. However, Natasha reminds herself that nothing lasts forever as she makes her way to Budapest. She heads back to her roots as she announces "I’m done running from my past."

The trailer explores her past and reveals Natasha's decision to reunite with her family. Fans are introduced to her sister (played by Florence Pugh), who feels like a mirror image of Natasha (at least during their introductory fight), and her parents. The trailer teases "some unfinished business," the Red Guardian (played by David Harbour), the Red Room and gravity-defying stunt sequences. Several portions of the trailer were shown at the D23 Expo which took place earlier this year.

Black Widow is set to release on May 1, 2020, in the US and on April 30, 2020, in India. The movie is directed by Cate Shortland. What did you think about the Black Widow teaser trailer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
