Seven months after Avengers: Endgame revealed that Natasha Romanoff sacrificed her life for the Soul Stone and reverse Thanos' snap, Marvel Cinematic Universe released the trailer of Black Widow to tease a few of the MCU superhero's untold stories. The new trailer helped fans uncover the anonymity over Natasha's "real" family and teased a few unfinished businesses that she had to wrap up before she could return to the Avengers and join them for the Infinity War. Wait, you weren't aware?

Well, for the unversed, Black Widow is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Now, it has already been revealed that the Black Widow movie will feature an Iron Man cameo. The trailer released this week featured Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury. However, if you are wondering whether or not Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner aka The Hulk would appear, we are sorry to break your heart.

There are chances the ferocious green superhero might not be seen in Black Widow. Why? Probably because of the timeline. If you recall the epic Team Iron Man vs Team Captain America at the airport in Captain America: Civil War, you would notice that Hulk was missing. The superhero was stuck in Sakaar after he gets lost following the battle of Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Remember when Black Widow begged Hulk to return but Hulk heads off in a Quinjet and gets disappeared?

Hulk was next seen in Thor: Ragnarok and reunites with his Avengers buddies in Avengers: Infinity War. Given this placement, Hulk will technically not appear and join Black Widow in her quest. However, like Hawkeye and Nick, there are chances Bruce could appear in a flashback sequence. Marvel Studios hasn't addressed Ruffalo's superhero's appearance in the MCU Phase 4 movie.

Black Widow is set to release on May 1, 2020, in the US while it hits a day early - April 30, 2020 - in India. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
