Britney Spears is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Her debut album as well as her second album  ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops!... I Did It Again (2000) respectively were worldwide successes that she was best selling teenage artist of all time. She also has acted in several movies and has done cameo’s in series, shows and movies. She did a cameo role in the series ‘How I Met Your Mother’ as Barney Stinson’s girlfriend Abby. Fans are still shocked to find that it was her in the show. 

She is also referred to as "Princess of Pop" as she is a pop icon who brought back pop music to the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. Her debut movie was in Crossroads (2002). This year, in 2019, Spears announced that she is taking a break from her career and was later admitted into a mental health facility without her consent. This lead to a court investigation into malpractice conducted by Spears's team.
