The Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman revealed how his audition for the Guardians of Galaxy film led to him landing a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The actor who will be seen in Black Panther 2 appeared on the talk show called The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman who essayed the role of T'Challa in the film, stated that he actually went for an audition to the Guardians of Galaxy for the part of Drax the Destroyer. Unfortunately, the actor did not get the role. Hollywood actor Dave Bautista bagged the role eventually. Chadwick Boseman reveals that he for once knew that he was not going to be selected for the Drax part.
He goes on to explain why he felt so, during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Hollywood star who essayed the lead role in Black Panther, got a lot of appreciation and love for his performance in the film from fans across the globe. Chadwick Boseman further adds that it is not uncommon for actors to audition for a role, knowing well that they will not probably get the role. Boseman further says that he felt that the Guardians of Galaxy audition may not work out for him, but the people who are taking those auditions may choose him for another role, in a different film.
