No one saw Donald Trump calling out Chrissy Teigen over the weekend. The model, who is married to musician John Legend, was subjected to the POTUS' rant on Sunday night on Twitter. The US President posted a slew of tweets referring to Legend's interview on MSNBC about criminal justice reform. Trump tagged Legend 'boring' while he deemed Teigen as "filthy mouthed." Chrissy wasted no time in responding to the tweet. But now, she sat with Ellen DeGeneres to share an elaborate reaction to the Twitter war.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Chrissy admitted that she was angry with the call out. She added that she was so shocked, her eyes teared up. Teigen said that Trump goes on rants now and then and one is aware he is going to say something. However, she wasn't prepared to be his target over the weekend.

“It was a weird feeling. I was really angry, I think my eyes filled up with water at the shock of it that, ‘I can’t believe this really happens right now,'" she said. "[Trump] just goes on these rants … you just wait for him to say something but you don’t think it’s gonna be you. We all wait for our day to come, and mine happened to be Sunday,” she added.

“He went and he called John a ‘boring musician’ and ‘his filthy mouthed wife’ which, those two things are true. John is boring, I do have a filthy mouth," she joked. Recalling the events that unfolded after Trump's tweet, Teigen said, "We spent the entire rest of the night just sitting … handing each other our phone. ‘Should I say this? Should I say this?’ ‘No.’ ‘Should I say this?’ ‘No, it has to be funnier.’ ‘No, because we’re mad!’ It went on all night.”

Soon after the Trump tweeted, Teigen took to Twitter to share, "lol what a p***y a** b**ch. tagged everyone but me. an honor, mister president." She also shared a picture of herself colouring the board and referring to her daughter, "Luna, remember the night before your first day of school? When mommy was making your sign and the pussy ass bitch president had his 9th meltdown of the day."

Meanwhile, Legend tweeted, "Imagine being president of a whole country and spending your Sunday night hate-watching MSNBC hoping somebody--ANYBODY--will praise you.  Melania, please praise this man.  He needs you," before adding, "Your country needs you, Melania."
