Disney star Cole Sprouse recently opened up about the potential reboot of the popular series Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The 28-year-old actor who was the star of the show along with his brother Dylan spoke about the possible spinoff during in an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show yesterday. While he said reboots are extremely “tricky,” he added that the original show was widely successful and well-received by fans.

Cole added that it is tricky since the show already has a legacy, and sits “in this little golden plate of nostalgia,” he shared his fears that if the team modernizes it and goes back to it, it might just disenfranchise the original fanbase. “I am asked all the time if Dylan and I are going to do a Suite Life reboot and I go, ‘No, absolutely not,’” he continued.

For those unversed, the Suite Life of Zack & Cody was a teen sitcom which aired on Disney Channel from March 2005, to September 2008. The show told the story of 2 twin brothers Zack and Cody, and how they found their lives taking hilarious turns when their mother started working at one of Boston's finest hotels, the Tipton. Apart from Dylan and Cole Sprouse, the show also starred Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song, Phill Lewis, Vanessa Hudgens and more.

On the personal front, after breaking up with his Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart back in August 2020, the Riverdale actor was spotted getting cosy with model Reina Silva in October, in Vancouver, Canada, in pictures obtained by Daily Mail. In the pics, the model slipped her arms inside Cole‘s jacket before pulling him in for a romantic embrace.
