Cuba Gooding Jr is facing charges for inappropriately touching a woman in a bar at Manhattan the past weekend. On Thursday, the actor decided to turn himself in to the police and his attorney, Mark Heller said during a press conference how Cooding has been cooperative with the police and expects to be acquitted. Heller also told during the press conference that he will be pleading not guilty and Cooding is currently at the Manhattan court at his hearing.

When NYPD met with the Oscar-winning actor post the woman alleged the charges of inappropriate touching, Cooding denied all of the claims. The woman told the police she was with friends when Cooding alleged the incident took place. She also told the police how she protested at this incident and that's when they argued about what happened. Heller told reporters, "In my 50 years, almost, of practicing law, I have never seen a case like this one because there is not a scintilla of criminal culpability that can be attributed to Mr. Cuba Gooding Jr. after I have extensively, with my staff, reviewed the video of almost two hours which reflects the entire event for which we are here today."

Cuba Cooding Jr was accused by a bartender back in 2012 while he was in New Orleans and because he was angry with everyone taking pictures, when asked to calm down, he pushed her. While that's that, while leaving, Cooding pushed the bartender again, however, she eventually dropped the charges.
