Ever since Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry and got the title of the Duchess of Sussex, the former American actress has constantly been subjected to extreme media scrutiny. Everything from her clothes to her relationship with Royal Family members makes headlines on a daily basis. Recently, during an interaction with People, Daniel Radcliffe shared his thoughts on the issue. The Harry Potter actor stated that he feels terrible for Meghan.

While he asserted that he does not take a huge interest in the royal family, by whatever little pieces of information he gets, he understands that Meghan is being treated “to the full force of the British media.” He also admitted that he always found Meghan and Harry’s relationship sweet because she must genuinely love him a lot to get involved in this overwhelming lifestyle. “It must be insane.” Although Radcliffe has seen his share of extreme media attention ever since he was 12 and the first Harry Potter movie came out, the actor asserted that the media attention he received as a child star comes nowhere close to what Prince Harry and his brother Prince William went through during their childhood.

The Duchess of Sussex recently opened up about her experience with media scrutiny in Tom Bradby’s ITV documentary -- Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. Meghan admitted that she always knew what it would be like to always be the center of attention when it comes to media, but also believed it would be fair. “If things are fair, that completely tracks for me if things are fair. But when people are saying things that are just untrue and they’re being told they’re untrue, but they’re allowed to still say them, I don’t know anybody in the world who would feel that that’s OK. And that’s different than just scrutiny. That’s a different beast. It’s really a different beast,” she said.
