With the new season dawning upon the digitals this week, we’re bringing you the details of the show in all its glory. Now, the focus has moved to Vergil, the twin brother of Dante. Ahead of its release on May 12, 2026, we’re taking a look at the show’s details.
Devil May Cry Season 2 Plot
The show, focusing on Dante, a demon hunter who offers services to anyone willing to take them, tries to shoot down a demonic invasion of Earth. He faces off against White Rabbit and also tries to get rid of a human soldier, Mary Ann Arkham. The show’s plot moves to having Vergil in the spotlight this time around, while Dante remains captured. As the demonic invasion takes form, the two realms are thrown into chaos. The two brothers must fight against each other in a massive showdown in Devil May Cry Season 2.

Devil May Cry Season 2 Release Information
After releasing eight episodes with its first season premiering on April 3, 2025, on Netflix, Devil May Cry Season 2 has also confirmed its all-at-once 8-episode release schedule for May 12, 2026, on the OTT platform. While Netflix has not confirmed its exact release timings, as usual, most shows drop at 12:30 pm IST.

Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary Ann Arkham, Hoon Lee as the White Rabbit, and, most importantly, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, return to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Moreover, other actors lending their voices to the program include Chris Coppola and Jon Gries, among others.
