Disney's Toy Story 5, Moana, and Angry Birds 3 has made its ways to Mumbai. The city is playing host to one of the most ambitious celebrations of fandom and entertainment with C.O.R.E – Culture of Real Experiences, India’s first official large-scale pop-culture festival. Bringing together beloved global franchises, immersive attractions and interactive zones, the festival transformed the city into a playground for fans. From kids discovering their favorite characters to adults revisiting cherished memories, C.O.R.E has delivered a unique blend of nostalgia and next-generation storytelling.
Disney Worlds Come Alive
Among the biggest highlights were the Disney-themed experiences that drew massive crowds throughout the festival. Dedicated pop-ups for Moana, Toy Story 5 and The Angry Birds Movie 3 offered fans an opportunity to step into the worlds of their favorite characters. Visitors explored themed installations, participated in activities, collected exclusive merchandise and enjoyed numerous photo opportunities. The vibrant spaces were designed to create magical moments for families while also appealing to the “inner child” in every visitor.

The festival went beyond traditional exhibits by creating immersive experiences filled with meet-and-greets, interactive storytelling sessions and family-friendly attractions. The Kids Cosmos zone became a major crowd-puller, featuring toys, hands-on activities and dedicated play spaces that encouraged creativity and imagination. Official merchandise drops generated excitement among collectors, while specially curated photo-op corners ensured fans could take home memories from their favorite franchises.
The event also generated buzz for some of the most anticipated animated releases on the horizon. Fans were introduced to updates surrounding Toy Story 5, which sees the return of Hollywood icons Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. Meanwhile, Moana continues the beloved adventure with returning stars Dwayne Johnson and Auliʻi Cravalho. Another major talking point was The Angry Birds Movie 3, which brings back fan-favorite voices Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver and Danny McBride as Bomb.

Adding to the excitement was the announcement of several new cast members joining The Angry Birds Movie 3. The film expands its ensemble with Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Walker Scobell, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Marcello Hernandez, among others. The combination of returning favourites and fresh talent has heightened anticipation among audiences eager to see how the franchise evolves while retaining its trademark humour and heart.
Toy Story 5 Sparks Conversations
One of the most talked-about moments at the festival was an exclusive screening connected to Toy Story 5. The film appears poised to explore themes that resonate deeply with modern audiences, particularly the growing relationship between children and technology. Fans who attended the first screening emerged enthusiastic and eager to encourage others to experience the film for themselves.
Several attendees expressed how the story felt timely and relevant. A fan said, "You all need to watch the movie because its more about what is going on right now. People are choosing electronics rather than their imagination. Its not against anything, but how you can use things to your benefit. Before the protagonists as either Woody or Buzz Lightyear, so this time you will be surprised in a good way at who the main lead is!"
The response reflected the broader appeal of the festival itself, a celebration of imagination, creativity and shared experiences. By bringing together beloved franchises, immersive attractions and exclusive previews under one roof, C.O.R.E demonstrated how pop culture can unite generations. As fans left with merchandise, photographs and unforgettable memories, the festival established itself as a landmark event, setting a new benchmark for entertainment experiences in India.
