Marvel Studios has confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch would don the red cape for yet another Doctor Strange movie. The British actor, who was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, will be exploring the multiverse in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. While Kevin Feige has confirmed Doctor Strange 2 is in the making, the Disney head hasn't spilled the beans on the remaining cast of the movie. A new rumour is now doing the rounds suggesting the possibility of Jared Leto joining the Multiverse of Madness.

Leto is not a stranger to the superheroes universe. The actor played the iconic Joker in DCEU's Suicide Squad. While the actor won't return to Suicide Squad 2, directed by James Gunn, he could possibly shift universes and star in MCU's Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness and details of his possible role has also been leaked.

According to a "leak" posted by 4chan shared on Reddit, Marvel is eyeing a slew of actors to join the Doctor Strange movie. This includes Eva Green, Emily Blunt, Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby and Natalie Dormer, while actors consist of Ewan McGregor, James McAvoy, Cillian Murphy, Dan Stevens and Jared Leto. The leak claims the studio is considering his and the others in the list for the role of Nightmare.

Interestingly, Leto was in the running to play Doctor Strange before the part landed in Cumberbatch's lap. If he does get the part, it would be an interesting dynamic to watch.
