Dolittle: Tom Holland, Selena Gomez & John Cena get their own character posters courtesy of Robert Downey Jr
We're still trying to get over the fact that Robert Downey Jr. will no longer be playing Iron Man in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) since Tony Stark's self-sacrifice move to defeat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. However, RDJ is helping us move on by taking on another role for his upcoming release, Dolittle. And, he's not alone! He's bringing a squad of adorable animals with him. Earlier, a trailer of Dolittle was shared which showed us what we can expect from the film while also showing Robert's rapport with the animals.
Taking to his Instagram account today, Downey shared several character posters of the animals, which is being voiced by a stellar cast including Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Octavia Spencer, Tom Holland, Craig Robinson, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez and Marion Cotillard. Each animal got its own poster as they posed with RDJ, who we will see as Dr. John Dolittle. For each animal, the Oscar-nominated actor had something special to say. Check out the new character posters of Dolittle below:
Robert wrote, "It’s a zoo here! Selena Gomez is Betsy and Marion Cotillard is Tutu. Repeat after me! Emma Thompson is Poly. Our wild kingdom grows...Kumail Nanjiani is Plimpton. Things might get a little nuts...Craig Robinson is Kevin. It’s a wild ride...Tom Holland is Jip. This January...Octavia Spencer is Dab-Dab. We’re almost there! Rami Malik is Chee-Chee. Get ready...Ralph Fiennes is Barry. I can barely wait... John Cena is Yoshi."
