Move aside Brangelina; we have a new Mr. and Mrs. Smith in town! In some good news that will definitely leave you excited, Atlanta star Donald Glover and Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge are set to create and star in the series adaptation of the hit 2005 film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Moreover, Glover and Waller-Bridge will also serve as executive producers of the new Amazon original series.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith is scheduled for a 2022 premiere with co-creator and executive producer Francesca Sloane of Fargo fame serving as the showrunner. Sharing the exciting news with the world, Donald took to Instagram Stories and posted a video of Phoebe and himself as the duo hilariously announced Mr. & Mrs. Smith, with some assistance from a popular TikTok trend. Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios shared, "Talk about the dream team! Donald and Phoebe are two of the most talented creators and performers in the world. It's truly a dream for us, as it will be for our global audience, to have these two forces of nature collaborating as a powerhouse creative team."
