One of the most publicised feuds in the world of Hollywood is the one between Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel. Dwayne joined the Fast & Furious family in Fast Five (2011) as Luke Hobbs. However, during the filming of The Fate of the Furious (2017), The Rock had taken to Instagram to talk about his ongoing problems with Vin, without mentioning his name. Furthermore, it was the difference in creative philosophies that led to the duo's ugly rift. It got so bad, that the two even refused to shoot scenes together! Finally, Johnson worked on an F&F spin-off movie separately with Hobbs & Shaw, that released this year.

Hobbs & Shaw proved to be an extremely smart move as the movie collected an astounding $750 million at the global box-office. The Rock took to his Instagram page to thank the fans for their love and support to make Hobbs & Shaw such a global success as well as welcoming the spin-off into the Fast & Furious universe with open arms. After thanking the cast as well as the entire team of his latest release, Dwayne took a moment to give a shoutout to a special someone which shocked F&F fans! Vin Diesel! "But also lastly, but not least. I want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw," the 47-shared in his IG video.

After sending his love to Vin and his wife Paloma Jiménez from his and wife Lauren Hashian's behalf, Johnson continued, "As you know, and what a wild ride this is, and what a wild ride this has been, ten years ago when you and I spoke and you invited me into the Fast & Furious family. I’m grateful for that invite, and as you know, my goal was always, all these years, to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could. If I could do that, then I’ve done my job. And now here we are ten years later, this massively successful build-out and expansion. We did it the right way, we did it the smart way, and again brother, I appreciate your support."

Finally, teasing a reunion showdown between Hobbs and Vin's character Dom Toretto, The Rock concluded, "And of course, all roads lead to one thing... I’ll be seeing you soon, Toretto," with a wink and a grin included!

We're glad that Dwayne and Vin have officially buried the hatchet! This begs the question - could we see a possible cameo by Johnson in Fast & Furious 9? Only time will tell!
