It's officially Emmys night, baby! The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards are taking place this weekend in the US and the best of television shows have been nominated. The annual television awards commemorate and celebrate the best of TV stars, episodes and shows. Emmys 2019 will go down in history for awarding Game of Thrones with a whopping 32 Emmy nominations. The HBO show, which ended this summer on a not-so-happy note, is up for various categories including Best Drama, Best Actor in the Lead, Best Actress in the Lead, and more. 

While it is expected that Game of Thrones could lead the winners' pack, viewers could expect the Emmys to celebrate some of the best TV shows that kissed the television goodbye this year. Apart from Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory also big adieu to the small screen after 13 long seasons. There are bound to be tears so keep those tissues handy. But when does the drama unfold? Here's all you need to know about the Emmys 2019 time, nominations, live streaming details before you pop those corns and watch the Emmys 2019 winners take over the stage: 

When is the Emmys 2019: The ceremony will take place on September 22, 2019, in the US. In India, the ceremony begins at 5:30 am on September 23, 2019.

Where to live stream Emmys 2019: The 71st Emmy Awards will air on FOX in the US. In India, as per the Television Academy site, the award ceremony will be aired on Star. 

Who's hosting Emmys 2019: There is no host this year. However, a slew of presenters has been lined up. The Game of Thrones cast, including Mendham’s Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, Sophie Turner and Carice van Houten will take on the stage to present awards. The Veep cast, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Kevin Dunn, Clea Duvall, Timothy Simons, Gary Cole, Sam Richardson, Reid Scott, Sarah Sutherland and Matt Walsh are also expected to present the golden trophy for different categories. 

Who are nominated for Emmys 2019: As already mentioned, Game of Thrones has bagged the highest nods. Apart from the period drama, Chernobyl and Saturday Night Live have bagged several nominations.
